Makerspace

What is a Makerspace?

A makerspace is a collaborative work space inside a school, library or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring and sharing. It is not a computer lab, a woodshop, or an art room, but it remixes elements of all of these educational spaces into something new. You can use the Makerspace for teaching a class, for doing a final project, your thesis, your art, or just on your own time.
